Two-hour Horseback Excursion

The two-hour horseback ride in Essaouira, at Ranch de Diabat, offers an excellent time/cost balance for an intense equestrian experience; you can venture into lush nature in a short time at an affordable price for everyone.

Leaving Ranch de Diabat, you will head towards the forest of mimosa and eucalyptus, through the dunes, until you reach the beach, where you can gallop, breathe in the iodine of the Atlantic Ocean, and approach a small fishing village.

On the way back, you will admire the Portuguese Castle located on the beach, which once served as a lookout for pirate ships arriving on the coast, now in ruins and exposed to the elements, yet still possessing an ancient charm.

You will be able to closely admire Mogador Island and observe the ancient prison and the mosque, both still intact.

You will continue along the Kassob River, where you will find seasonal migratory birds of rare beauty on its waters.

Finally, you will pass by the remains of the Palace of Sultan Moulay Abdallah, included in the UNESCO heritage.

You will then return to Ranch de Diabat, where you can rest on the terrace, access the restrooms, and make yourself comfortable.

The staff will escort you back to Essaouira via the free shuttle, or you may leave independently if you arrived with your own vehicle.

Rides are available every day of the week by appointment and depending on the availability of instructors and horses.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION:

The booking will be confirmed upon receipt of the confirmation email sent by our staff or by the booking system, once the balance has been paid.

PAYMENT METHODS:

- Bank transfer to a Moroccan bank (sending proof of payment by email at least 7 days before the activity is mandatory)

- International credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express – via PayPal or Factobox)

ON-SITE PAYMENT:

For on-site bookings, for which availability cannot be guaranteed without advance payment, it is possible to pay in cash (Moroccan dirhams).

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS:

Any interruption of the activity requested by the client for any reason requires dedicated assistance, which involves an additional cost.

This cost will be charged on site, communicated at the time, and depends on the location where the client interrupts the activity.

The client agrees to pay this cost.

Please note: weather conditions or illness are not covered by the organizer but by the client’s own travel insurance.

In the event of cancellation by the client, the following penalties will apply:

• More than 30 days before arrival: 30% of the total booking amount will be retained
• Between 29 and 10 days before arrival: 60% of the total booking amount will be retained
• Between 9 and 3 days before arrival: 75% of the total booking amount will be retained
• Less than 48 hours before arrival: 100% of the total booking amount will be retained

CHILDREN CONDITIONS:

Young children also pay the full price, as they will ride on a horse led by a dedicated instructor. Safety vests and riding helmets will be provided.
For safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden for a child to ride on the same horse as an adult. Only the instructor may, if necessary, take a small child on the saddle; however, preferably, the instructor will accompany the child on foot, staying alongside them.
