Group trip along the west coast of Morocco for women
How do you imagine a trip to Morocco? Historic cities, captivating scents and colors, or soft sand dunes at sunset? On this group trip for women along Morocco's west coast, we'll discover the many facets of a welcoming and magical country. Marrakech will be our gateway, revealing the country's historic and vibrant side. We'll then take time to learn about the times and spaces of Berber life. We'll enjoy a unique experience in a tented camp along the beach: stars, bonfires, and music will help us find harmony within the group and within ourselves.
We'll test ourselves in a variety of situations, shaking up our routine and enriching ourselves with new emotions and insights. We'll explore the area using every means at our disposal : from a slow walk in search of a waterfall to an adventurous quad bike excursion across the dunes, to a picturesque horseback ride on the beach.
Even if you've never ridden a scooter or ridden a horse, you can enjoy safe experiences, suitable for all women who want to unleash their adventurous side.
Itinerary between Marrakech and Essaouira
Is Morocco safe for women? Our local human destination is Erika, who began exploring the country alone in 2006, fell in love, and decided to stay. No one better than her can help us experience the local culture without fear or preconceptions.
Together with Omar, she will guide us to discover the most authentic side of Morocco, where they live, work, and passionately raise their family. They will welcome us to their ranch, accompany us on excursions, and connect us with local families who will share their way of life with us.
Human Destination: Your specialized travel agency for Morocco
Between the desert and the ocean, we'll be in close contact with a new, powerful nature that will caress our most hidden sides, inviting them to come out into the open. In the group, we'll find new friendships, exchanges, and inspiration, precious souvenirs to take home with us.
Plan
Day 1: Arrival and accommodation in Marrakech
I arrive in Marrakech in time to acclimatize to this city teeming with life, traffic, chaos, colors, smells, decorations, and so much to discover. This first day will be dedicated to exploring the city and getting to know the group. Lunch is free, depending on the arrival time. The group gathers at sunset over a cup of tea on the terrace of the main square, Jemaa el-Fnaa, to review the program, browse travel journals, and introduce themselves. We all dine together in the city center to immediately immerse ourselves in the local flavors. We spend the night in a traditional riad.
Included
- Riad with breakfast in the central area, accommodation in double rooms (single rooms available with a €30 supplement depending on availability)
- Dinner
Not included (but we are available for suggestions)
- Lunch
- Airport–Riyadh shuttle
Day 2: From Marrakech to Essaouira by car, 10 km trek, bivouac overlooking the ocean
After a hearty breakfast, we'll drive to Essaouira, where we'll have lunch on the cliffs of Ouessen. From there, we'll set off on foot, assisted by our guide, along a scenic route of about 10 km, ascending and descending over rocky and sandy terrain. We'll stop for a refreshing break in the village of Sidi Kaouki, then set off again to a long beach and then to our bivouac. At the end of the day, we'll discover what typical Berber tents look like. A camp shower awaits us, followed by a bonfire beneath a sea of stars and the power of the sea.
Included
- Transport by minibus with driver
- Breakfast, lunch, dinner
- Local guide
- Tented camp on a cliff overlooking the sea, with accommodation in basic Berber tents, equipped with 10 cm mattresses on the floor (single tent available for a €15 supplement depending on availability)
Day 3: Visit to the city of Essaouira and quad adventure on the dunes
Waking up here and now, in front of the powerful and energetic Ocean!
We'll leave the camp to visit the town of Essaouira with an official guide: the port, the ancient walls, the bastions with cannons pointing toward the sea, and the narrow, ancient alleys. We'll have lunch together in the city. In the afternoon, we'll have a few hours of free time for shopping or relaxing, alone or with friends. At 4:30 PM, our driver will take us to Ranch Diabat, where we'll enjoy a sunset quad bike ride along the beach, through the dunes, and through a mimosa forest. It'll be a fun couple of hours, and those who don't want to drive can be a passenger. Upon our return, dinner will be prepared right at our riad, where we can relax and enjoy an evening with friends.

Breakfast will be served in the morning, and then everyone will have the opportunity to decide what to do. A stroll along the beach, a taxi to Essaouira (15 minutes) for shopping, or a relaxing poolside break. Erika will be available to provide advice and help you plan your activities. Meals are intentionally excluded this day to allow for maximum freedom, but Erika will be happy to advise you on this as well.

Today, we'll hike from a fishing village along the cliffs, feeling the energy of the ocean at our side. We'll encounter animals roaming in semi-wilderness. The terrain will vary: from the rocky cliffs to the golden sand dunes, passing through dirt roads made of ancient shells broken by the elements.
A picnic lunch is provided halfway. After the hike, a half-day at the pool for some well-deserved relaxation. Dinner at the hotel at sunset. It will be a day full of time to reflect, write, and imagine.

Day 6: 2-hour ride and return to Marrakech
This morning, our instructors will be Arabian-Berber horses. Some say they can read your soul and bring out emotions you'd forgotten about or were well hidden. They'll lead us to the beach, and they'll be patient even with those who have never ridden a horse before.
It will be our way of saying goodbye to Essaouira before heading back to Marrakech. A quick lunch along the way, and then, once settled in at the riad, we'll have time to wander the bustling market, teeming with life and artisans, either in a group or alone. Tonight for dinner, we've chosen a special place, Les Jardin, to spend the evening together and bid farewell to this wonderful country.
