Intensive Practical Equestrian Tourism Course

Designed for beginners (with at least some classical riding lessons already taken) who wish to approach the world of equestrian tourism, this intensive course offers the opportunity to learn all the skills necessary to manage a horse outdoors safely.

At the end of the week, you will have acquired the technical and practical basics to be able to undertake, in the future, a horse trekking journey.

The minimum course duration is 8 days, including 10 sessions (5 in the morning and 5 in the afternoon) and an alternative activity, necessary for technical, management, and psychological preparation.

Possibility to participate also with friends in small groups of up to 4 people

Discover the Beginner Riders program

Why?

There are moments in life when we feel the need to change pace. That is when the desire to gain experience and challenge oneself arises. What if the equestrian world is calling you? A horse, nature, the silence that helps you listen.

This intensive program takes you from the basics of Equestrian Tourism to a first true trekking experience. Safely, respectfully, and with quality guidance from those who truly love horses.

The intensive Equestrian Tourism course: Beginner Riders lasts 8 days and is designed to guide you in discovering equestrian tourism. It is not just any course, but a complete immersion in the equestrian world: technique, relationship, emotion, outdoors to learn how to manage your horse in such varied situations.

Every morning, you learn to take care of your horse: you groom it, prepare it, listen to it. Then you mount, and gradually learn to move together with it.

The program takes place between Ranch de Diabat and the natural landscapes surrounding Essaouira: dunes, forests, beaches. Every morning and every afternoon, a practical session will let you experience horsemanship not as a sport, but as a deep connection between two living beings.

At the end of the course, you will no longer be a beginner. You will have completed the first stage of your equestrian journey and will be able to face more intense experiences with greater confidence, such as a horse trekking tour.

Who is this trip designed for?
  • For those starting at a beginner level who have already taken some riding lessons and want to deepen their knowledge by riding outdoors.
  • For those who want to learn, but in a safe and respectful way.
  • For those seeking a true experience, creating that invisible bond with their horse.
  • For those who dream of one day riding in the desert… and want to start the journey today.

No great experience is needed, just the desire to try.

We know well what it means to be at the first step: that emotion mixed with fear, that feeling of not being up to the task. But it is precisely from there that every great story begins.

Beginner Riders Morocco is not just a course. It is an invitation to get to know yourself better, to overcome fears, to rediscover the beauty of learning something new with care, respect, and the professionalism of those who have been doing this work in the field for many years.

Because the relationship with a horse teaches us a lot about ourselves and improves how we handle situations, teaches us to listen, to trust, and to breathe together.

And who knows… maybe in a few months it will be you setting off on your first real trek.
We will be here, waiting for you.

IMPORTANT NOTES

The travel insurance we ask you to take out must include cancellation cover in case the client withdraws before the trip for personal reasons. If the client does not wish to take out this insurance, they may choose not to do so, but they will be personally responsible for the cancellation and for the consequent lack of reimbursement of travel expenses.

We also require medical cover during the trip. This is mandatory for trekking bookings. The medical insurance must cover any illness or accident during the trip and must include horse riding as a non-competitive activity.

Based on what our clients have reported to us after many years of trekking, we can recommend Heymondo, which offers a single insurance policy covering both cancellation and accidents, with the option to include horse riding. Our recommendation is based on the positive feedback received from our clients. If you have had good experiences with other insurance providers, please let us know.

Please note

The insurance must be taken out at the same time as the purchase of the horseback trekking experience.

If the client requests to interrupt the activity for any reason, dedicated assistance will be required and will involve an extra cost. This cost will be invoiced on site. The amount will be communicated at the time and will depend on the place where the client interrupts the activity. The client agrees to pay this expense.

The booking payment is non-refundable, and the selected date of the experience cannot be changed.

By making the booking, the client declares that they accept and agree to follow the rules stated here.
