Recommended for those seeking adventure, the quad excursion in Essaouira will allow you to discover the surroundings of the Ranch de Diabat.
This one-hour quad excursion starts from the Ranch heading towards the beach and small dunes to reach the freshwater springs where animals come to drink. The return will be along a winding path through the mimosa and eucalyptus forest.
Alone, in pairs, or in groups, Ranch de Diabat offers you the unique experience of a quad excursion in Essaouira in the heart of wild and preserved landscapes.
The quad excursions offered by Ranch de Diabat are nature discovery tours, respecting animals, plants, dunes, and people encountered along the way.
Program
For those with their own transport, it will be easy to reach Ranch de Diabat, located just 3 km from the city center; a map and GPS coordinates will be sent by email, and you can park safely in the Ranch’s private parking lot.
Upon arrival at Reception, you will be welcomed by our staff who will explain the safety instructions regarding the quads, and you will be able to complete the rental contract and meet your instructor who will help you choose a helmet in your size.
After a brief driving test, you will set off on this beautiful adventure heading towards the beach, following the banks of the Kassob River.
You will visit the Palace of Sultan Moulay Abdallah, then continue towards the dunes, where it will be very important to follow the tracks of your responsible guide.
Heading south, you will have the opportunity to encounter a small fishing village and the freshwater springs that flow from the beach, where semi-wild animals come to drink.
You can then leave the beach for a moment, traveling along a path bordered by dunes on one side and the mimosa and eucalyptus forest on the other, until you reach the northern beach where you can admire the Portuguese Castle and see up close Mogador Island with its mosque and ancient prison.
Prepare Yourself Well
- Level: No specific quad driving skill level or license is required to participate in this excursion
- Clothing: Recommended clothing includes long pants, closed shoes, and a light jacket to protect against the wind.

Included in the price:
Quad rental, guides, helmets, transportation to and from the city of Essaouira.
Private activity available with payment of a supplement.
BOOKING CONDITIONS:
All activities must be paid in advance in order to be confirmed.
PAYMENT METHODS:
- Bank transfer to a Moroccan bank (sending proof of payment by email at least 7 days before the activity is mandatory)
- International credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express – via Stripe)
ON-SITE PAYMENT:
For on-site bookings, for which availability cannot be guaranteed without advance payment, it is possible to pay in cash (Moroccan dirhams).
CANCELLATION CONDITIONS:
Any interruption of the activity requested by the client for any reason requires dedicated assistance, which involves an additional cost. This cost will be charged on site, communicated at the time, and depends on the location where the client interrupts the activity.
The client agrees to pay this cost.
Please note: weather conditions or illness are not covered by the organizer but by the client’s own travel insurance.
In the event of cancellation by the client, the following penalties will apply:
- More than 30 days before arrival: 30% of the total booking amount will be retained
- Between 29 and 10 days before arrival: 60% of the total booking amount will be retained
- Between 9 and 3 days before arrival: 75% of the total booking amount will be retained
- Less than 48 hours before arrival: 100% of the total booking amount will be retained
CHILDREN CONDITIONS:
- Children from 0 to 4 years old are free of charge and share the quad with a responsible adult
- Children between 5 and 8 years old pay half price and share the quad with a responsible adult
- Children between 9 and 15 years old pay the full price and share the quad with a responsible adult
