You'll be able to observe their training and understand the ancestral essence of a breed that has crossed thousands of kilometers of deserts, tirelessly and always at their owner's side. Our patented saddle offers absolute comfort, allowing you to sit comfortably while enjoying the unique scenery.
Leaving the Ranch de Diabat, a route immersed in pristine nature, with enchanting landscapes, awaits you.
The mimosa and eucalyptus forest, the great dunes that stand majestically before the ocean, the freshwater springs, the fishing village, the towering dunes of Cap Sim: just some of the beauties you will encounter along your journey.
A great picnic to enjoy along the way, with a break immersed in nature.
You will be able to admire Mogador Island, the Portuguese Castle and the Black Sultan's Palace.
The dromedary is a calm and accessible animal and will allow you to spend a pleasant time with family or friends.

For those with a car, it will be easy to reach the Ranch de Diabat, located just 3 km from the city center. You will be sent a map and GPS location by email, and you can park with complete peace of mind in the Ranch's private parking lot.
Upon arrival at the Reception, you will be greeted by our staff who will introduce you to your guide.
This walk is suitable for adults and children, even small ones, who can ride the same dromedary as their parents at a discounted rate.
Your guide will explain how to mount the dromedaries, already seated and ready to take you on a ride. Using the footrest, you can easily climb onto the comfortable saddle, designed and manufactured by Ranch de Diabat for the maximum comfort of our guests during the ride.
Once you've mounted your dromedary, you'll head with the caravan towards the beautiful, lush mimosa and eucalyptus forest, where you'll encounter numerous tortoises and pick eucalyptus berries and leaves to make a decoction and balsamic vapors for colds.
The terrain in this forest is sandy and full of ups and downs, sometimes leading you into small valleys and other times up hills that dominate the enchanting view, a true paradise for the eyes.
You will continue towards the dunes and the beautiful beach, where you can experience the thrill of walking in the ocean water from the heights of these majestic animals with their long, dynamic legs.
At low tide, you'll find freshwater springs bubbling up on the shoreline, where semi-free animals come to drink every day and where your dromedary friends can quench their thirst.
Nearby you'll notice some wooden huts, which serve as seasonal homes for local fishermen, who often offer fresh fish at a reasonable price. If you like, you can buy it and grill it that evening.
To round off the beautiful day, a picnic lunch that you will carry with you in your saddlebags, consisting of: a varied salad, chicken skewers to be cooked at lunchtime, seasonal fruit, bread, water and soft drinks, and tea prepared freshly over the wood fire.
The vegetarian menu includes: a varied salad, zaalouk (a Moroccan eggplant appetizer), zucchini balls, bread, water and soft drinks, and tea brewed fresh over a wood fire.
Continuing south, you'll reach an enchanting sea of enormous sand dunes, with a lighthouse in the distance called Cap Sim. A place of great natural energy, where you can admire large sand dunes and a beautiful forest, and on the other side, the ocean as far as the eye can see.
Continuing north, you can admire the Portuguese Castle and get a close-up view of Mogador Island with its mosque and ancient prison. From here, following the banks of the Qassob River, you will visit the Palace of Sultan Moulay Abdallah, which has been the setting for several films and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Prepare yourself as best as possible
- Experience Level: No prior experience is required to take part in this excursion.
- Clothing: The recommended attire for this excursion is casual, including shorts and flip-flops. In case of wind, we recommend wearing a light windproof jacket, a scarf, and sunglasses.

Private activities are available for an additional fee. Please note : weather conditions or illnesses are not covered by the organizer, but by your travel insurance.
Interruption of the requested activity by the customer for any reason requires dedicated assistance, which will incur an additional cost. This cost will be billed on-site and will be communicated at the time and depends on the location where the customer interrupts the activity. The customer agrees to pay this cost.
BOOKING CONDITIONS :
All activities must be paid for in advance to be validated.
PAYMENT METHODS :
- Bank transfer to a Moroccan bank (proof of payment must be sent by email at least 7 days before the activity )
- International credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express – with Paypal or Factobox)
PAYMENT ON SITE:
For on-site reservations, availability of which we cannot guarantee without advance payment, payment can be made in cash or in dirhams.
CANCELLATION :
For cancellations (by the customer or the hotel) a fee will be charged on the following basis:
For all activities where the total price is less than 800.00 MAD, the activity is paid in case of cancellation from 10 days before or no-show.
For all activities exceeding 850.00 MAD, the activity will be paid in case of cancellation according to the following cancellation policy:
- More than 30 days before arrival €20 per booking
- Between 29 and 10 days before arrival: 60% of the total booking amount
- Between 9 and 3 days before arrival: 75% of the total booking
- Less than 48 hours before arrival: 100% of the total booking
CHILDREN'S CONDITIONS:
0-4 years free (sharing the dromedary with parents, maximum one child with one adult)
5 to 8 years: half price if sharing the dromedary (maximum one child with one adult) and full price if riding alone.
From 9 years: Full price if riding alone or sharing the dromedary
Note: Each dromedary can have a maximum of two people on board, even babies, for safety reasons. If there are three children in a family of two adults, the eldest will have a dromedary alone or with a guide, paying the corresponding fee.
