Plan

A free shuttle is available at one of the pick-up points: Place Moulay Hassan, Bab Marrakech, Bab Doukkala, or you can designate another pick-up point from which it can pick you up and then take you back once the tour is over.

For those with a car, it will be easy to reach the Ranch de Diabat, located just 3 km from the city center. You will be sent a map and GPS location by email, and you can park with complete peace of mind in the Ranch's private parking lot.

Upon your arrival at Reception, you will be greeted by our staff who will show you the route you will be taking and introduce you to your guide.

Leaving the Ranch de Diabat, you will take the road that runs alongside the Qsob River, where you can admire various migratory and resident birds. From here, you will immediately arrive at a historic site listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the palace of Sultan Moulay Ben Abdallah. Here, you can walk among the remains of this splendid ancient palace and listen to the history your guide will tell you.

From here, you'll reach the beach through some stunning dunes, from which you can admire the ocean as far as the eye can see. Descending, you'll reach the Portuguese Castle, built by the Phoenicians as a guard post for ships arriving from the coast.

Continuing south, you can visit the mimosa and eucalyptus forest. A series of ups and downs on the sandy terrain will lead you to an ancient well where animals drink, so it's common to encounter herds of sheep and goats, dromedaries, cows and calves, and donkeys.

Your guide will prepare tea for you over a wood fire in accordance with nomadic tradition.

You can continue along the immense beach towards the south, where you will come across a small fishing village with wooden houses overlooking the sea, and nearby the freshwater springs that flow from the beach.

You will climb towards the high sand dunes of Cap Sim, where you will eventually glimpse the white lighthouse that helps ships return to the port of Essaouira, and behind it the wind turbines of the wind farm that provides electricity to the region.

Once you reach the top of the dunes, you can admire two seas, one behind you made of sand and the other in front of you made of water, an incredible spectacle!

You'll descend into a natural cave carved out by the sea, dotted with countless rocks smoothed by the currents—a unique sight. It's time to sit back, admire the ocean, and enjoy lunch.
A choice of grilled chicken, a varied salad, seasonal fruit, handmade bread, and drinks are available. A vegetarian menu will be available on request, and we'll be happy to accommodate any food allergies you may have.

From here you will continue climbing to the village of Ouessen, which will give you a breathtaking view of the bay of Sidi Kaouky and Taguenza.

You'll descend along a path crisscrossed by small shrubs to the beach, passing an ancient well and shortly after the new fishing port of Taguenza, where colorful boats line the beach. Fishermen liven up the area, helping each other with tractors to launch their boats or retrieve them from the sea with their fresh catch.

Shortly afterward, you'll arrive in Sidi Kaouky, the center of a village known for its world-class water sports: surfing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing. Here, the shuttle will take you back to Essaouira for a well-deserved rest, filled with beautiful images, memories, and countless photographs.
