Special Program: Horseback Trekking between Essaouira and the Ocean

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Marrakech airport, a private minibus will take you to Essaouira, the "Bride of the Atlantic". In the afternoon, you will have free time to explore the Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its ramparts and colorful port. Dinner will be arranged at the Ranch at 8:30 p.m. (cost: 18 euros per person, payable on site).

• Included: private transfer, overnight stay in a hotel with breakfast.

• Excluded: lunch and dinner.

Logistical note: To attend the welcome dinner and initial briefing, we recommend arriving in Marrakech by 5:00 p.m. If you arrive after this time, you risk missing dinner together and the briefing. A private taxi with an additional charge will be available; in any case, we recommend contacting us before booking your flight.

The heart of the journey begins. Riding the magnificent horses of Ranch de Diabat, we will cross sand dunes, argan forests and Berber villages, sleeping under the stars in organized tented camps. A total immersion in nature and silence.

• Included: full board (meals and overnight stays during the trek), horse and guide.

Return to Essaouira in the afternoon. After several days in the saddle, you can enjoy some well-deserved rest. If you wish, you can book a traditional hammam with a massage to loosen your muscles and relax completely.

• Excluded: dinner and Hammam treatments/massages (optional).

Private transfer from Essaouira to Marrakech. In the afternoon, guided tour through the souks and the famous Jemaa el-Fna square. We will conclude the experience with one final convivial dinner to celebrate the moments we shared.

• Included: transfer, overnight stay in a riad with breakfast.

• Excluded: meals.

Not included: small taxi from the city center to Marrakech airport, depending on your departure time (approximately €10-15).

We recommend booking an afternoon flight so you can enjoy your last day in Marrakech; in any case, we recommend contacting us before booking your flight.

Maximum permitted weight: 90 kg (the organization reserves the right to refuse admission to the trek to anyone who does not declare their actual weight if it exceeds the limit, and no refund will be issued. The horses' health is the priority).

The organization is not responsible for clauses not covered by the insurance. If you wish, you may take out additional insurance with a provider of your choice. 

To participate in a multi-day equestrian trek with us and our beautiful Barb-Arabian horses, we need to select the riders:
- be competent in all three paces - walk, trot, and canter - when requested
- maximum weight of 90 kg
- good posture at the trot to avoid injuring the horse's back
- caring for the horse assigned to you during the trek: saddling, unsaddling, grooming, watering, and feeding
- passport valid for 6 months beyond the date of entry into Morocco

The experience is immersive and includes all these activities that help create an even more genuine bond with the horse that will carry you around.

During the trek, accommodation will be in shared tents for 6 people or, if you prefer, in an igloo tent for 2 people.

The bivouac is equipped with a shower with lukewarm water.

Your meals are prepared by our chef, who will introduce you to the richness of Moroccan cuisine. The menu takes into account the participants' diets or food allergies, as indicated on the registration form.

It is customary at the end of the trip to leave a tip for the staff who have looked after you during the experience. This may range from 7 to 10% of the trip price.

Soft-sided, not hard-shell luggage.

Each horse is equipped with a trekking saddle and saddlebags that allow you to carry your lunch and the personal belongings you need for your day on horseback. Sensitive riders are advised to bring a sheepskin saddle cover for protection.

Regarding electrical charging, it will never be available, so bring some solar power banks and check the maximum voltage with your airline.
