Essaouira Quad Bike Tour: Dune Adventure, Breathtaking Landscapes, and History
A two-hour quad bike ride in the Moroccan desert , designed for nature lovers, those who enjoy beautiful landscapes, and a fun side when reaching the great dunes of Cap Sim.
This quad bike tour in Morocco is suitable for both groups of friends and families with small children. Your guide will tailor the route and stops to suit the group, finding the perfect vantage points for unforgettable photos and brightening your day with intense emotions to share.

For those with a car, it will be easy to reach the Ranch de Diabat, located just 3 km from the city center. You will be sent a map and GPS location by email, and you can park with complete peace of mind in the Ranch's private parking lot.
Upon your arrival at Reception, you'll be greeted by our staff who will show you the safety instructions for the quads. You can then fill out the rental contract and meet your instructor, who will help you choose the right helmet size.
Before departure, your guide will give you a short test drive to reassure you and put you at ease. After this, you'll be ready to set off on this wonderful quad bike excursion.
Leaving the Ranch de Diabat, you'll find yourself on a dirt road that runs alongside the Qsob River, home to several species of both migratory and resident birds. By turning off the engines, you can observe and photograph them from behind some bushes.
Continuing along the same road, you will reach the ocean in just a few minutes. Ranch de Diabat is located very close to the sea and is an ideal starting point for all types of excursions.
You will head south along the very long beach, where on your left you can see the first dunes, behind them the mimosa and eucalyptus forest, and on your right the infinite Atlantic Ocean with its waves pounded by the trade winds.
You'll arrive at the large dunes known as Omar, and shortly after, a fishing village where seasonal fishermen live in small wooden huts facing the sea. It's not uncommon to be invited for tea; the people here are truly kind and welcoming.
Not far away are the incredible freshwater springs that flow from the beach, where at low tide semi-free animals come to drink.
You will reach the highest point of this excursion, the large dunes of Cap Sim, which when viewed look like an expanse of sandy waves constantly moving thanks to the Essaouira wind.
The magic and beautiful energy emanating from this place are tangible: behind you is the beautiful Cap Sim lighthouse guiding ships out to sea towards the port of Essaouira, and in front of you is the Atlantic Ocean.
Two seas border each other, one made of very high dunes and the other made of waves, truly magical.
Before returning, there are two more important stops on this beautiful route: on the beach you can admire the ruins of the Portuguese Castle, built by the Phoenicians to spot approaching ships, and the island of Mogador with the remains of the prison and the minaret of the mosque where, now a protected area, the Eleonora's falcon breeds.
Prepare yourself as best as possible
- Level : To participate in this excursion it is not necessary to have a specific level of skill in driving a quad or a driving license.
- Clothing : Recommended clothing is long trousers, closed shoes and a light jacket to protect you from the wind.

BOOKING CONDITIONS:
All activities must be paid in advance in order to be confirmed.
PAYMENT METHODS:
- Bank transfer to a Moroccan bank (sending proof of payment by email at least 7 days before the activity is mandatory)
- International credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express – via Stripe)
ON-SITE PAYMENT:
For on-site bookings, for which availability cannot be guaranteed without advance payment, it is possible to pay in cash (Moroccan dirhams).
CANCELLATION CONDITIONS:
Any interruption of the activity requested by the client for any reason requires dedicated assistance, which involves an additional cost. This cost will be charged on site, communicated at the time, and depends on the location where the client interrupts the activity.
The client agrees to pay this cost.
Please note: weather conditions or illness are not covered by the organizer but by the client’s own travel insurance.
In the event of cancellation by the client, the following penalties will apply:
- More than 30 days before arrival: 30% of the total booking amount will be retained
- Between 29 and 10 days before arrival: 60% of the total booking amount will be retained
- Between 9 and 3 days before arrival: 75% of the total booking amount will be retained
- Less than 48 hours before arrival: 100% of the total booking amount will be retained
CHILDREN CONDITIONS:
- Children from 0 to 4 years old are free of charge and share the quad with a responsible adult
- Children between 5 and 8 years old pay half price and share the quad with a responsible adult
- Children between 9 and 15 years old pay the full price and share the quad with a responsible adult
