This activity will enchant you with its landscapes, the majesty of the dromedaries, and the kindness of the guide, not to mention the splendid sunset that crowns the end of the ride.
Starting from the Ranch, following the Qsob river, which hosts many seasonal migratory birds, you will arrive at the Sultan's Palace, protected by UNESCO and the setting of some famous films.
Here you will enter the Eucalyptus forest with its tall trees and downward-facing leaves, then reach the beach where the slow walking of the dromedaries will accompany you at a relaxing pace.
The view of the ocean and Mogador Island as the sun sets, and you will climb the dunes in front of the Portuguese castle to watch the sun fall into the sea and then finally return to the Ranch full of beautiful memories.
The exact time of the ride and the meeting will be carefully communicated by the reception based on the actual sunset time, which varies day by day and season by season.
We guarantee the view of the sunset from a privileged point to observe the sun well; you will return to the Ranch immediately afterward to avoid darkness.
We are not responsible for adverse weather conditions, which do not constitute grounds for cancellation or complaint. (we do our best to satisfy you but we do not yet have superpowers over the weather )
Program
For those with their own transport, it will be easy to reach Ranch de Diabat, located just 3 km from the city center; a map and GPS point will be sent to you by email, and you can park safely in the Ranch's private parking lot.
Upon arrival at Reception, you will be welcomed by our staff who will introduce you to your guide.
This ride is suitable for adults and even small children, who can ride on the same dromedary as their parents at a discounted rate.
Your guide will explain how to mount the dromedaries, already seated and ready to take you on the ride; helping you with the footrest step, you can easily get onto the comfortable saddle, designed and made by Ranch de Diabat for the maximum comfort of its clients during the ride.
Remember that the dromedary is a calm animal, the ride takes place in a caravan, one behind the other, the saddles are comfortable, and it is not necessary to wear a protective helmet. The route touches on interesting historical and natural points and is designed to admire the landscape and nature, learn about history and some interesting anecdotes, and get in touch with a way of training this gentle animal naturally and ethologically.
Prepare Yourself Well
- Experience Level: no experience is necessary to take part in this excursion
- Clothing: The recommended clothing for this excursion is casual; shorts and flip-flops are also possible. In case of wind, it is advisable to wear a light jacket to protect against the wind and a scarf, as well as sunglasses.

BOOKING CONDITIONS:
All activities must be paid in advance in order to be confirmed.
PAYMENT METHODS:
- Bank transfer to a Moroccan bank (sending proof of payment by email at least 7 days before the activity is mandatory)
- International credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express – via PayPal or Factobox)
ON-SITE PAYMENT:
For on-site bookings, for which availability cannot be guaranteed without advance payment, it is possible to pay in cash (Moroccan dirhams).
CANCELLATION CONDITIONS:
Any interruption of the activity requested by the client for any reason requires dedicated assistance, which involves an additional cost. This cost will be charged on site, communicated at the time, and depends on the location where the client interrupts the activity.
The client agrees to pay this cost.
Please note: weather conditions or illness are not covered by the organizer but by the client’s own travel insurance.
In the event of cancellation by the client, the following penalties will apply:
- More than 30 days before arrival: 30% of the total booking amount will be retained
- Between 29 and 10 days before arrival: 60% of the total booking amount will be retained
- Between 9 and 3 days before arrival: 75% of the total booking amount will be retained
- Less than 48 hours before arrival: 100% of the total booking amount will be retained
CHILDREN CONDITIONS:
0–4 years old: free of charge (sharing the camel with parents, maximum one child with one adult)
5–8 years old: half price if sharing the camel (maximum one child with one adult), and full price if riding alone
From 9 years old: full price whether riding alone or sharing the camel
NB: each camel may carry a maximum of two people, even in the case of a baby, for safety reasons. If in a family of two adults there are three children, the oldest child will ride a camel alone or with the guide, paying the corresponding fee.
