Departure and arrival:
Marrakech (preferably flight arriving by 2 pm and departing in the afternoon)
A journey designed for those who wish to go beyond traditional tourism and approach Moroccan culture authentically, focusing on respect for the local population and human encounter.
The itinerary unfolds among three emblematic places of Morocco:
- Marrakech (2 nights) – gateway to the country, among history, markets, and first contacts with local culture
- Imlil (3 nights) – in the heart of the Atlas, to experience the most authentic dimension of Berber communities
- Essaouira (3 nights) – on the ocean, among traditions, crafts, and relaxed rhythms of life
We have chosen to stay longer in each destination to allow a real immersion in local daily life, avoiding a “hit and run” trip. Free time will be an integral part of the experience, offering space to observe, meet, and live the place at your own pace.
The stay includes authentic guest houses run by Moroccan families, selected to ensure genuine hospitality and directly support the local economy.
During the trip, simple but profound experiences related to daily life will be offered:
- Preparation of traditional homemade bread
- Discovery of weaving techniques on the loom
- Shared moments with local families
- Activities linked to local traditions and rhythms
This journey is an invitation to slow down, listen, and connect with a country rich in nuances, where every encounter becomes part of the path.
Dedicated and exclusive accompaniment by Erika, who has lived in Morocco since 2006 and will kindly guide you into this world
Authentic Morocco – a journey of encounters (9 days / 8 nights)
A journey that does not just visit places, but invites you to cross them slowly, letting yourself be touched by the people, daily gestures, and silences.
An experience designed for those who truly wish to understand, to connect, to return home with more than just images.
Program
Day 1 – The first glance
We arrive in Marrakech, a vibrant and intense gateway.
The air is warm, the sounds are new, the colors seem more vivid.
We are welcomed by our guest house, a first refuge in this land still to be discovered.
In the evening we sit together: faces begin to become familiar, stories intertwine. It is the first step to becoming a group.
Included:
- Transfer from the airport to the guest house depending on arrival time
- guest house in twin or triple room (single with €30 supplement)
- dinner
Not Included:
- Lunch on your own in case of morning arrival
Day 2 – Towards the mountain, towards the essential
We leave the city and head towards Imlil, in the heart of the Atlas.
The road rises slowly, and with it the rhythm changes.
Here the mountain is not just a landscape: it is presence, it is guidance, it is life.
We walk on paths beaten by those who travel them every day: children going to school, men and women moving between villages, often on foot or accompanied by a mule.
We meet the village girls and listen to their stories: studying here is a choice of courage, an act of determination.
Under the gaze of Jebel Toubkal, we share a lunch in a local home.
It is not just food: it is hospitality, it is openness.
The afternoon is free, but it is never empty: it is time to observe, to exchange smiles, to let oneself be approached.
In the evening we return to the guest house, where simplicity becomes home.
Included:
- transport from Marrakech to Imlil
- lunch in a local home
- guest house in twin or triple room (single with €30 supplement)
- dinner
Day 3 – The slow time of the earth
Today we reach the Kik Plateau.
Here the land tells stories of effort and resilience.
Years of drought have marked these fields, yet recent rain has reopened a glimmer: the wheat grows, the barley returns, life resumes.
We walk among the village houses until we meet a woman sitting at her loom.
His hands move with ancient, precise gestures. He invites us to try.
At that moment, time changes rhythm.
We share a simple meal, observing life as it flows: a field to plow, an animal to care for, a tea that unites.
We return to the guest house with a new space inside.
Silence, reflection, dinner together.
Included:
- transport from Imlil to the Kik Plateau
- local guide
- lunch in a local home
- guest house in twin or triple room (single with €30 supplement)
- dinner
Day 4 – In the footsteps of a shepherd
Today we follow a shepherd.
There are no schedules, only the movement of the flock, the wind, the sun.
The goats and sheep set the pace, and we learn to slow down.
Lunch is essential, shared, true.
There is nothing constructed, and precisely for this reason everything is authentic.
When we return, something has changed: simplicity no longer appears as a lack, but as a possible choice.
Included:
- local guide
- packed lunch
- guest house in twin or triple room (single with €30 supplement)
- dinner
Day 5 – The ocean that opens
We say goodbye to the mountains and descend towards Essaouira.
The air becomes cooler, the wind carries the scent of the sea.
The city welcomes us with its white and blue colors, the boats in the harbor, the fishermen’s nets.
We have lunch with the catch of the day, watching the continuous movement of the port.
Then the weather clears: a walk, the sound of the waves, the first encounter with the ocean.
Our guest house welcomes us for the next few days.
Here we begin to feel part of a new rhythm.
Included:
- transport from Imlil to Essaouira
- local caught lunch
- guest house in twin or triple room (single with €30 supplement)
- dinner
Day 6 – The time of the sea
Today the sea decides.
We spend the day with a family of fishermen.
It is not just about participating in their work, but about entering a way of life made of waiting, effort, and respect.
The times are not ours, but those of the tides.
We learn to follow, not to control.
We share a simple lunch, tea prepared on the spot, stories that pass without the need for translation.
Included:
- activity with a local family
- packed lunch
- guest house in twin or triple room (single with €30 supplement)
- dinner
- daily transfers by minibus
Day 7 – Women’s hands, stories of strength
We enter a women's cooperative.
Here women work argan oil with gestures handed down over time.
Every movement tells of independence, dignity, possibility.
It is not just production: it is emancipation.
We continue towards the salt flats, where the land offers another form of sustenance.
We observe the work, the rhythms, the deep relationship between man and nature.
The day is intense, but it leaves us space to return to ourselves before meeting again together.
Included:
- visit to a women's cooperative producing argan oil
- lunch
- guest house in twin or triple room (single with €30 supplement)
- dinner
- daily transfers by minibus
Day 8 – Returning, with different eyes
We return to Marrakech.
The city is the same as on the first day, but we are not.
We look at it with different eyes.
We visit the Ben Youssef Medersa and the Bahia Palace, entering history and beauty.
The afternoon is free: to get lost among the shops, to choose an object, or perhaps just to slowly say goodbye to this country.
The last dinner together has a special flavor: that of things that are about to end, but that remain.
Included:
- transfer to Marrakech from Essaouira
- lunch
- guest house in twin or triple room (single with €30 supplement)
- dinner
- entrance to the Medersa and Bahia Palace
Day 9 – Departures
We say goodbye.
Everyone leaves with something invisible, yet present:
faces, gestures, silences, encounters.
Morocco is no longer just a place.
It has become an experience.
Included:
- Taxi from the guest house to the airport depending on your departure time
