The Moroccan bivouac is a unique experience that will remain etched in your mind and memories.
Suitable for both groups of friends and couples, and highly recommended for families with small children, the Moroccan bivouac organized by Ranch de Diabat can be private or shared with other people, each staying in their own Berber tent, but sharing the beautiful evening.

Plan
For those with a car, it will be easy to reach the Ranch de Diabat, located just 3 km from the city center. You will be sent a map and GPS location by email, and you can park with complete peace of mind in the Ranch's private parking lot.
Upon your arrival at Reception, you will be greeted by our staff who will explain the process of this experience.
From Ranch de Diabat, a free shuttle will take you to the bivouac site, or if you have a car, you can easily reach it with our directions.
The place designated to accommodate the The bivouac , which is set up at our guests' request, is simply unique, on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. You can enjoy a magnificent view of the lush nature all around, with argan trees and tamarind trees, and you can watch the sun set over the ocean—a breathtaking sight.
The evening starts from here, a mint tea with dried fruit as an aperitif, a nice bonfire to warm the spirits, the chef who starts to prepare the dinner which you can attend if you wish, will be more than happy to share with you the secrets of typical Moroccan cuisine.
We will be attentive to your tastes and any food intolerances, communicated in advance.
Once dinner is served, the atmosphere will be filled with a beautiful atmosphere around the fire. and tell anecdotes about life, history, and culture; the evening will pass in harmony, and the sky above you will be immense, giving you the opportunity to observe the moon or the many constellations, depending on the day of the month.
Your Berber tent It will await you with the comforts you deserve, carpets and mattresses on the floor, pillows and blankets, for a restful sleep.
The next morning a hearty breakfast with fresh fruit juice, yogurt, tea and coffee, as well as bread and mesmn or baghrir, fruit and jam.
This experience starts at 5pm and ends at 10am the next morning.
Prepare yourself as best as possible
- Clothing: To participate in this experience, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and taking into account the possible seasonal temperature variations and the humidity of the sea. It is recommended to cover up in the evening, bring sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses, and bring the necessary items for spending the night in a soft bag that will be transported by the logistics staff's truck. This includes a flashlight for the night, a swimsuit for those who wish to swim, and a towel for the shower.

To host you in the bivouac, we require authorization from the tourism delegation, via your passport, which takes at least two weeks to be sent. Please plan your bivouac or activity + bivouac in advance.

Included in the price:
Organization of a Berber camp set up on request, as this is not a fixed camp; half-board meals including dinner and breakfast the following morning; Berber tent with ground carpets and 12 cm mattresses with pillows and blankets; kitchen tent; warm shower tent and sanitary tent with chemical WC; transportation to and from the city of Essaouira.
Private activity available with payment of a supplement.
BOOKING CONDITIONS:
All activities must be paid in advance in order to be confirmed.
PAYMENT METHODS:
- Bank transfer to a Moroccan bank (sending proof of payment by email at least 7 days before the activity is mandatory)
- International credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express – via Stripe)
ON-SITE PAYMENT:
For on-site bookings, for which availability cannot be guaranteed without advance payment, it is possible to pay in cash (Moroccan dirhams).
CANCELLATION CONDITIONS:
Any interruption of the activity requested by the client for any reason requires dedicated assistance, which involves an additional cost.
This cost will be charged on site, communicated at the time, and depends on the location where the client interrupts the activity.
The client agrees to pay this cost.
Please note: weather conditions or illness are not covered by the organizer but by the client’s own travel insurance.
In the event of cancellation by the client, the following penalties will apply:
More than 30 days before arrival: 30% of the total booking amount will be retained
Between 29 and 10 days before arrival: 60% of the total booking amount will be retained
Between 9 and 3 days before arrival: 75% of the total booking amount will be retained
Less than 48 hours before arrival: 100% of the total booking amount will be retained
CHILDREN CONDITIONS:
Children from 0 to 4 years old are free of charge
Children between 5 and 8 years old pay half price
Children from 9 years old pay the full price
