Note: The bivouac is only possible with a reservation and submission of passports 2 weeks before the activity, as required by the competent authorities of Essaouira
The Moroccan bivouac is a unique experience that will remain etched in your mind and memories.
Suitable for groups of friends, couples, and highly recommended for families with young children, the Moroccan bivouac organized by Ranch de Diabat can be privatized or shared with others, each accommodated in their own Berber tent, while sharing a pleasant evening.
The highlights of this wonderful evening are:

Program
For those with their own transport, it will be easy to reach Ranch de Diabat, located just 3 km from the city center; a map and GPS coordinates will be sent by email, and you can park safely in the Ranch’s private parking lot.
Upon arrival at Reception, you will be welcomed by our staff who will explain the details of this experience.
From Ranch de Diabat, you will be accompanied by the free shuttle to the bivouac site, or if you have your own transport, you can easily reach it with our directions.
The designated site for the bivouac, set up upon our clients’ request, is simply unique, on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. You can enjoy a magnificent view, surrounded by lush nature with argan and tamarisk trees, and watch the sun set over the ocean, a breathtaking sight.
The evening begins here, with mint tea and dried fruit as an aperitif, a cozy bonfire to warm the spirits, and the cook starting to prepare the dinner, which you may watch if you wish; he will be more than happy to share the secrets of typical Moroccan cuisine.
We will be attentive to your tastes and any dietary intolerances communicated in advance.
Once dinner is served, the atmosphere will be filled with a warm ambiance around the fire, sharing anecdotes about life, history, and culture; the evening will pass in harmony, and the vast sky above will give you the chance to observe the moon or the many constellations, depending on the day of the month.
Your Berber tent will await you, with the comforts you deserve: rugs and mattresses on the floor, cushions, and blankets for a restful sleep.
The following morning, a hearty breakfast will be served, including fresh fruit juice, yogurt, tea and coffee, as well as bread and mesmn or baghrir, fruit, and jam.
This experience starts at 5 pm and ends at 10 am the following morning.
Prepare Yourself Well
- Clothing: For this experience, comfortable clothing is recommended, keeping in mind possible seasonal temperature variations and sea humidity. It is advisable to cover up in the evening, bring sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses, and pack the essentials for spending the night in a soft bag that will be transported by the logistics staff’s truck, a flashlight for the night, a swimsuit for those who wish to swim, and a towel for showering.

To host you in the bivouac, we require authorization from the tourism delegation, via your passport, which needs at least two weeks to be processed. Please plan your bivouac or activity + bivouac well in advance.
Min. 3 – Max. 30 people
Included in the price:
Organization of a Berber camp set up on request, as this is not a fixed camp; half-board meals including dinner and breakfast the following morning; Berber tent with ground carpets and 12 cm mattresses with pillows and blankets; kitchen tent; warm shower tent and sanitary tent with chemical WC; transportation to and from the city of Essaouira.
Private activity available with payment of a supplement.
BOOKING CONDITIONS:
All activities must be paid in advance in order to be confirmed.
PAYMENT METHODS:
- Bank transfer to a Moroccan bank (sending proof of payment by email at least 7 days before the activity is mandatory)
- International credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express – via Stripe)
ON-SITE PAYMENT:
For on-site bookings, for which availability cannot be guaranteed without advance payment, it is possible to pay in cash (Moroccan dirhams).
CANCELLATION CONDITIONS:
Any interruption of the activity requested by the client for any reason requires dedicated assistance, which involves an additional cost.
This cost will be charged on site, communicated at the time, and depends on the location where the client interrupts the activity.
The client agrees to pay this cost.
Please note: weather conditions or illness are not covered by the organizer but by the client’s own travel insurance.
In the event of cancellation by the client, the following penalties will apply:
More than 30 days before arrival: 30% of the total booking amount will be retained
Between 29 and 10 days before arrival: 60% of the total booking amount will be retained
Between 9 and 3 days before arrival: 75% of the total booking amount will be retained
Less than 48 hours before arrival: 100% of the total booking amount will be retained
CHILDREN CONDITIONS:
Children from 0 to 4 years old are free of charge
Children between 5 and 8 years old pay half price
Children from 9 years old pay the full price
