Special Program: Horseback Trekking between Essaouira and the Ocean

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Marrakech airport, a private minibus will take you to Essaouira, the "Bride of the Atlantic." Afternoon dedicated to a free visit of the Medina, a UNESCO heritage site, with its ramparts and colorful port.

• Included: private transfer, overnight stay in a hotel with breakfast.

• Excluded: lunch and dinner.

The heart of the journey begins. Riding the magnificent horses of Ranch de Diabat, we will cross sand dunes, argan forests, and Berber villages, sleeping under the stars in organized tented camps. A total immersion in nature and silence.

• Included: full board (meals and accommodation during the trekking), horse and guide.

Return to Essaouira in the afternoon. After days in the saddle, you can enjoy a well-deserved rest. For those interested, it is possible to book a traditional Hammam with massage to loosen muscles and fully relax.

• Included: overnight stay in a hotel with breakfast.

• Excluded: dinner and Hammam/massage treatments (optional).

Private transfer from Essaouira to Marrakech. In the afternoon, guided tour through the souks and the famous Jemaa el-Fna square. We will conclude the experience with a final convivial dinner to celebrate the moments shared together.

• Included: transfer, overnight stay in a Riad with breakfast.

• Excluded: meals.

Not included, small taxi from the center to Marrakech airport depending on your departure time (about €10-15)

Maximum allowed weight 90kg (the organization reserves the right to refuse participation to those who do not declare their actual weight if it exceeds the limit, and no refund will be provided. The health of the horses is the priority).

To participate in this horseback excursion, please wear long pants and closed shoes.

The organization is not responsible for any clauses not included in the insurance. You may purchase additional insurance of your choice if you wish.

To participate in a multi-day horseback trekking with us and our beautiful Arab-Berber horses, we need to select riders:
- be skilled in the three gaits walk, trot, canter when required
- with a maximum weight of 90kg
- a good posture at the trot to avoid injuring the horse's back
- take care of the assigned horse during the trek, saddle, unsaddle, clean, give water and food
- valid passport with 6 months remaining at the date of entry into Morocco

The experience is immersive and includes all these things that help create an even truer bond with the horse that will carry you around.

Accommodation during the trek will be in shared tents for 6 people or, if you prefer, in an igloo tent for 2 people.

The bivouac is equipped with a shower with warm water.

Your meals are prepared by our chef who will introduce you to the richness of Moroccan cuisine. The menu takes into account the diets or food allergies of participants, communicated in the registration form.

It is customary at the end of the trip to leave a tip for the staff who took care of you during the experience, which can range from 7 to 10% of the trip value.

Soft suitcase, not hard.

Each horse is equipped with a trekking saddle and saddlebags to carry your lunch and any personal items you may need for your day on horseback. Sensitive individuals are advised to bring a sheepskin to protect their saddle.

Regarding electrical charging, it will never be available, so plan on bringing solar power banks and check with your airline regarding the maximum voltage.
